Description
BAZZIE is a 2001 Hinckley Picnic Boat Classic 36, the hull that started it all! Enjoyed by the same family for 23 years, she offers the timeless Hinckley styling, quality construction, and comfortable ride that have made these boats so desirable.
Powered by a single Yanmar 6LY2M 300 HP diesel with just 1,400 original hours, ZF Marine transmission, and Hamilton waterjet propulsion, BAZZIE cruises efficiently at approximately 21 knots at 2,800 RPM. All engine services are up to date, and the Hamilton jet was rebuilt in the spring of 2026.
Her spacious cockpit and pilothouse comfortably accommodate 8 to 10 guests, making her ideal for entertaining, day cruising, or heading to the sandbar. Her shallow draft allows access to beaches and waterways that many conventional boats can't reach. Below deck, she features a V-berth, galley, and enclosed head with shower, making overnight trips an option as well. Electronics include a mix of original and updated Raymarine equipment.
After more than two decades of ownership, her owner is retiring from boating. While BAZZIE is mechanically sound and has been kept current on service, she is ready for some cosmetic updates, including hull side paint and some interior woodwork. Rather than take on those projects themselves, the owner has decided to price her accordingly and leave a clean slate for the next owner.
BAZZIE presents a great opportunity to get into a classic Hinckley at an attractive price, with the major mechanical work already addressed and the flexibility to make her your own.
The boat is readily available for showings and sea trials for serious buyers. The owner is motivated, and all serious offers are encouraged and will be presented for consideration.
