Based in Maryland, James Turner brings years of offshore fishing experience and a lifetime connection to the water to his role as a yacht broker. Having worked aboard fishing boats and competed at a high level, James has earned multiple tournament wins and developed a deep understanding of offshore performance, rigging, and serious sportfishing operations.
His firsthand experience working on competitive fishing vessels gives him practical insight into what makes a boat not just impressive at the dock — but truly capable offshore.
In addition to brokerage, James is the owner of Turner Tackle, manufacturer of the patented Ringer Swivels, a product trusted by serious offshore anglers. His involvement in the tackle industry further reflects his deep roots in the sportfishing community and his commitment to performance-driven innovation.
James splits his time between his farm on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and the Ocean City, Maryland / Bethany Beach, DE area, staying closely connected to both the agricultural heritage and coastal lifestyle that define the region. His strong work ethic, competitive fishing background, and real-world offshore experience allow him to guide clients with authenticity and confidence.
